Art Department

The BSGE Visual Arts department shares its goals with the IB Diploma program and aims to:

• Promote an understanding of art analysis based on formal qualities and conceptual ideas across various cultural contexts
• Encourage the pursuit of quality through experimentation and purposeful creative work in various expressive media

Students taking HL Art in their junior and senior years are required to have an exhibit of their work. An outside examiner reviews and grades student work.
