• Carts must be signed out using this sign-out page. Sign-outs are available from 7 days to 4 hour prior to the day/period being signed out.

  • Try to sign out a cart that is stationed on your floor first, before signing out another cart.

  • When you sign out a cart, it is your responsibility to get it to your room, and to return it to its home base room (or, if you know where it is going next period, to that room).

  • Do not let students take computers at their leisure – use your attendance roster as an assignment tool and assign students to computers by number. This allows us to better determine who is responsible when a problem arises.

  • When students return their computers to the cart, make sure that they put them in the appropriate slot and plug them in.

  • Before you lock the cart look through it to make sure that all computers are plugged in and charging, charging cables aren’t crossed or pulled out, etc. 

  • Take note of any problems with the cart, such as loose, missing or broken charging cables, missing labels or asset tags on computers, etc. and report them using the Staff Tech Support Form (click to access).
