Principal
Dr. Heather B Page
Driven by a profound passion for young people, Dr. Heather Burns Page brings nearly twenty-five years of experience in urban education, dedicated to providing accessible, world-class International Baccalaureate education. Her career spans leadership as a STEM Instructional Lead for a citywide district office and extensive teaching experience as an Assistant Principal and AP Biology/Environmental Science teacher in Manhattan public high schools. Dr. Page holds a Ph.D. in Science Education from New York University, a Master of Arts in Science Education from NYU, a Master of Science in Education in School Leadership and Administration from Baruch College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Ithaca College. Recognized with the 2015 New York Times “Teachers Who Make a Difference” award, she is committed to preparing students as global citizens and environmental stewards. Dr. Page actively broadens opportunities through international student trips and her work as a 2016 Grosvenor Teacher Fellow with National Geographic, inspiring students to explore the world. Dr. Page grew up near New Haven, Connecticut and is a proud Astoria resident for many years.

Hi everyone!
We are here to support your growth and success through developing the IB Learner attributes. I am here to support students and teachers with Climate, Culture & Well-being (think behavior, clubs, events, safety, trips, and Town Halls), Language A, Language B, History, Physical Education, and the IB Diploma Program. I currently teach IB Psychology HL.
I am also working on getting us a full-time therapy dog!
